SPECIAL ORDERS

Special orders are non cancelable, and the deposit is not subject to return. Special order’s arrival date is estimated only, not guaranteed. Orders are never cancelable due to delays. A deposit of half price (50%) of the item is required on all ordered merchandise.

WARRANTY

Idea Furniture, Co. provides the original purchaser with one-year limited warranty. All possible claims have to be accompanied by original sales receipt and digital pictures must be sent via email prior to scheduling a house visit. Idea Furniture, Co. warrants to the original purchaser that the merchandise will be free from defects in materials and workmanship under normal use and care. If we determine that an item is defective, we will repair or replace the affected item only. If we determine that we cannot repair or replace the item, the client can select a new item equal in value to the original purchase price of the damaged item. In the event an item is replaced, the only warranty on a replacement item is the time remaining from the original warranty. Warranty covers merchandise sold for residential use only.
Not covered with warranty are:
▪ Glass items and light bulbs
▪ Mechanically abused furniture
▪ Changes in cushion softness resulting from normal use (should not be mistaken for a loss of resiliency)
▪ Fading, tearing, pilling, shrinking, wrinkling of leather, natural marks on hide resulting from wounds, differences in coloring
▪ Shrinkage and wrinkling of fabric and changes in fabric color as a result of normal use and wear
The warranty loses its validity when the furniture:
▪ Has been moved from the original delivery address or has been moved from the original address showing on the sales receipt
▪ Shows signs of mechanical abuse or has been modified
▪ Has not been used according to manufacturer’s specifications (wood has to be waxed, leather cleaned and moisturized)
Warranty is valid only in the State of Illinois. Apart from warranty provided by Idea Furniture some pieces might be covered under manufacturer’s warranty.

OTHER

All furniture from BRW manufacturer comes flat packed in cartons and require assembly. Assembly is always optional and additional charges will apply. Variations in color, texture and natural markings of wood, fabric, metal and leather are common and cannot be avoided. We cannot be liable for any concerns resulting from such variations. Variations cannot always be represented in showroom swatches.
